Historical Tour of the Beaches and Fortresses of Bocachica

To travel to Bocachica from Cartagena, arrive at the meeting point at Bodeguita dock at 8:00 a.m. Meet the Playa Morena staff and pay the port tax of 5 USD (or $20,000 Colombian pesos). Enter the dock and wait for your departure. Leave for Bocachica on Tierrabomba Island. Relax on a 20 to 25-minute boat journey and marvel at the tranquil scenery.

You’ll meet your guide at the pier of Bocachica beach in Cartagena. After a warm welcome, head on towards a walking tour of the San Fernando fort, which was used to defend against pirates and invaders during the colonial era. Follow your guide to the lush and luxurious Morena Beach Club and enjoy its peace and stunning views. 

Kick back on the sun loungers, sip a delicious cocktail, and use the fantastic facilities of the club. You can spend time on the beach, and have a delicious Caribbean lunch. Sail back to Cartagena at 3:00 p.m., and finish your tour when you arrive at Bodeguita dock.
