The trip from Cartagena to the Rosario Islands takes about an hour. We officially start the day tour by arriving at Baru Island and taking a speedboat from Playa Blanca that’ll take us directly to the gorgeous Rosario Islands. The islands have been declared a Natural National Park and are home to thriving coral reefs, massive mangroves, and a bustling ecosystem.

At the islands, you can snorkel or explore the Rosario Islands aquarium to see the dolphin show and other species. The seaquarium, approachable through an underwater tunnel, houses more than 500 marine species, countless tropical fish, and a recreational area with fun water games. It’s a great site to include in your trip. (Please note that the seaquarium entrance fee is not in the tour price.)

We’ll conclude the Rosario Islands day trip by returning to Playa Blanca, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch of traditional Caribbean cuisine. After lunch, you can enjoy an afternoon of sun and beach before taking the bus back to the city around 3.20 p.m.

The drop-off point will be the same as the pick-up or meeting point.
